The Project
Located on Captain’s Island on Daniel Island, this custom home was designed as a personal retreat—one that reflects the homeowners’ lifestyle, history, and approach to entertaining.
Throughout the home, personal elements are thoughtfully integrated into the design. A reclaimed wood ceiling in the stairwell, sourced from a family barn, introduces a sense of history, while a dedicated media room showcases an extensive guitar collection, adding a layer of individuality that makes the home distinctly their own.
The layout balances openness with structure, creating spaces that feel connected without losing definition. It’s a home designed to host—comfortable, inviting, and easy to navigate whether for small gatherings or larger events.
Outdoor living extends naturally from the interior. Multiple seating areas, two fireplaces, and a built-in pizza oven create an environment designed for casual entertaining year-round.
Every detail of this Daniel Island home was considered—from personal touches to spatial planning—resulting in a residence that feels both highly functional and deeply reflective of the people who live there.
